About the Artists
Rachel and Tom Crider 
We have been spending a lot of time creating new beads, new jewelry and incorporating our style into our work.

Rachel and Tom have a diverse background from which they draw to create modern crisp thought provoking jewelry art.

Rachel grew up in world famous New Orleans while Tom enjoyed an Americana forklore of a childhood in rural souteastern Kentucky.  Tom is a veteran of the first Gulf War and now a commissioned officer with the Texas National Guard.  While dedicating as much time as he can to his art, his family and his country he works full-time in the information technology field. 

Tom is a formally trained artist with a Bachlor's of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the University of North Texas.  He has worked in many different media types for jewelry to include cloisonne (his work was published in Lapidary Journal in November of 1997), silver, gold, fine gems and his current passion GLASS.  Rachel has been trained in many various art mediums to include oil and acrylic painting, dafting, jewelry design, fiber arts and much more. 

Together Rachel and Tom create functional art to be worn by collectors as well as the casual admirer fantasic art for the body.

Rachel and Tom live in Round Rock, Texas just north of Austin.  They enjoy traveling and spending time with their two amazing beautiful children Mischa 4 and Tommy 3.
